Great news for Tide

Great new from over the pond, Linda Brox and Tide . Linda says "Well with no CKC and AKC shows near our home this weekend by, we thought we would try a UKC show. Tide in his favorite place the show ring picked up. Group 4th, 3rd and a 1st to gain his Championship. But the BEST part of all...was winning Best In Show! I am soooo proud of him."

1st TOMLINSON`S RAINESGIFT OVER THE MOON JW I have always liked this dog since I judged him as a puppy. He is the right size for me with a lovely elegant outline. Racy and well balanced with a super classical head and melting expression. With super tight feet and good bone. Well handled he moves freely with strength and drive. Very pleased to award him BEST DOG and C.C And then in agreement with my fellow judge the BEST IN SHOW

A Doggie weekend

The weekend of the October 13th-14th, Little Hayley (Lizzlog) and I headed to the beach with a car full of Flat Coats. A fabulous day was had by the Rainesgift, Lizzlog and one Gemswin team charging around on the beach and in the Sea.

An Australian Son for Mr Remus

The first news is that Remus is a dad again. Back when Remus was a youngster both Gill Smitherman and I sent out semen from our boys. Jacobs when used resulted in an only girl(now an Australian Champion) and Remus's an only boy !

At last .... a Show without the Mud !!!

Windsor Dog Show

At last ...a show without mud and rain !!! 

This years Dog Showing has been a very miserable affair with some horrendous weather conditions including Blackpool being cancelled.

This year has been the first year I have ever questioned why I bother showing my dogs. 

WELKS was absolutely freezing and very windy Remus won his Limit class under Judy Showell with Clem and Luna coming 3rd in their classes.

Again SKC was the same ... Brenda Hutchinson was the Judge for the day, Luna was 4th in her Limit Class and Clemence came second in the Open Class.

THREE COUNTIES under Sue Pingree was just a complete mudfest with the ring running like a River. We came away with two Firsts in Limit with Remus and Clemence

WINDSOR under roger Millbank saw us in the cards again with Remus 5th in a very good limit Dog Class, Clem 3rd in Limit and Luna 5th in Open.

I was especially proud to see the first three winners of the Graduate Bitch Class 

Springlindi Sweet Violet and Stranfaer Oranges and Lemons are out of the sisters Rainesgift The Dawn Chorus and Rainesgift The Dawn of Tyme for Stranfaer with Lizzlog Laceys Enigma being sired by Rainesgift Over the Moon. Very chuffed !!!

Congrats again to The Walkers and the Lizzlog Kisses girls for their Class wins ... again!!
