Grooming

Grooming is taken very seriously here at Rainesgift as you can see by this video of my Junior
apprentice Seth with Clemence and Linnet!!!

The plan was to have the hair for the Birds for their nests ...we didn't get much and they had to settle for Maise's Border Terrier hair!

The big bad boys

The boys although still sleeping alot are now up and mobile and in need of entertainment !!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY , 12 YEARS YOUNG!!!!

Happy 12th birthday to Berrie and her brothers Bobby, Herbie , Wesley and over in Norway, Murphy.
The litter were born on the 15th April 1998 in the spare room to Tori ( Kentee Innes) with the whole process watched by the cat. They were a lovely quality litter of which I ended up keeping three, Berrie (Rainy Day and Sundays) Brea (SH CH Here Come the Rain) and Murphy (Wheelers Black Rain) who went out to Norway aged 16 months.

Wesley went off to Hampshire , Bobby remained in Belper, Herbie went to Macclesfield and Beck went to Essex. Sadly Beck died of cancer of the speen aged seven and my own Brea died last year in January with complications after being spayed . The others are however in rude health although their owners have all said they are finally beginning to slow up and show their age!
Berrie's brain is still as active but her legs are a little slower!!

Sired by Phil and Sue Goodman's Riversflight Neath of Beanit the litter between then amassed 8 CC's and 9 Reserve CC's. Their children and grandchildren have won CC's, Reserve CC's, Junior Warrants, SWGC's and Shooting Dog Certificates and also competed in the Obedience ring at Crufts.

Above all they have displayed fantastic correct Flat Coat temperaments, out going, friendly and fun!!!

Long may they continue xxxxx

Two new Rainesgift editions

Finally they have arrived ...Clem's pups were due on Thursday and as she had been scanned for two puppies it was a nervous wait. Finally on Friday night after never really starting in "proper labour" I made the decision to take Clemence for a Caeserian. At

9.30pm last night , watched by friend Alex Webster and my 9 year old son Seth two beautiful but big dog puppies were delivered. Mum and babies are doing very well and Clem (and Seth) is proving very reluctant to leave the puppies for long ...or at all!!!

Many thanks to Alex and Seth for their help ...and of course my Vet Ian Taylor of Spire Vets!
